The Science is Out - Defending Parents Rights to Informed Choice
I am reluctant to write about these things because we live in an age where reason has lost it’s foothold. But as I scroll down my feed, I am horrified by the vitriol of abuse I see levelled at and by otherwise reasonable people. Young mothers call me to ask, “what should I do ?” There is so much pressure. I say “lay low, put your head down, avoid eye contact and keep your kids home, it will pass.” You would think we were talking about heinous crimes not childhood infections. The accusations are as wild as they are stupid, 'every time a baby dies of the Measles, it’s your fault’ and ‘anti-vaxers should ALL be taken to an island and killed’. On a vaccine education discussion forum, one woman recently asked if it was discrimination for her company to force her to wear a large pin stating she had declined the flue shot.
